Founders Bios

Elina has a great passion for wellness and health which began when she studied nutrition at medical school in Russia. When Elina moved to the United States, she worked hard to achieve a productive and successful professional life. She has tried different career paths such as a designer, which allowed her to contribute to the Gurtzberry design, and a spa director. But Elina always wanted to open her own café where she hoped to bring awareness about nutrition and wellness to others. Today Elina is proud to be the co-founder of Gurtzberry™ and she hopes that everyone enjoys having a cup of yogurt or a smoothie here at her favorite yogurt cafe. Elina also has many hobbies which include tennis, yoga, scuba diving and hiking. She enjoys visiting museums and supports the arts. She loves gardening and dreams of one day owning a farm where she will grow fruits and vegetables for Gurtzberry™.
